We are pleased to announce the 3rd North American Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS) Workshop, taking place June 14–17, 2027, in Corning, NY.
Hosted at the renowned Corning Museum of Glass (CMOG), the workshop will feature a dedicated Materials Surfaces Day in collaboration with Corning Incorporated and other industry partners, an exhibition of the latest SIMS and surface analysis technologies, and scientific sessions covering fundamentals, biology, polymers and materials, geo-SIMS, applied mass spectrometry, and emerging surface analytical tools.
The program also includes excursions to local wineries, Watkins Glen, and the Corning Museum of Glass. A one-day SIMS School will be held on Sunday, June 13, followed by a welcome reception.

The workshop will provide a vibrant forum for colleagues from academia, industry, and government worldwide to exchange ideas and discuss exciting new developments in SIMS and related techniques. Building on the growing engagement of industry-based participants, the workshop will strengthen interactions between industry and the research community, highlighting emerging applications, technological advances, and collaborative opportunities that drive innovation in the field.
